HSE Preparation at Woodland Adult Education
The HSE preparation class prepares students to pass all parts of tests (Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, social studies, and science). An individual study plan and schedule towards completing the GED® or HiSET® tests will be established for each student.
Students progress in the preparation class based on competency – that is, on work satisfactorily completed at 80% accuracy or better, not on seat time. Students work individually on each subject area. The majority of the communication will be one-on-one with the teacher, not lecture style.
