Woodland Adult Education offers a comprehensive High School Equivalency (HSE) program designed to help you achieve your educational goals. Whether you prefer the GED® or HiSET® exam, we provide the preparation and testing resources you need to succeed.
Woodland Adult Education is an official GED® and HiSET®Test Center and offers tests in English and Spanish by appointment only. For information and to register for the test go to www.ged.com or www.hiset.org

HSE Preparation class: your key to success
Our HSE preparation class is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to pass all sections of the GED® or HiSET® exam:
- Comprehensive Preparation: We cover all subject areas tested on the GED® and HiSET®.
- Individualized Study Plan: You'll receive a personalized study plan tailored to your specific needs and learning style.
- Competency-Based Progression: You'll progress through the curriculum at your own pace, based on demonstrating competency (80% accuracy or better) in each subject area.
- One-on-One Teacher Support: You'll receive individualized attention and support from our experienced instructors.
- No Cost: There is absolutely no charge for the HSE preparation class!

Getting started in our HSE program is easy:
- Eligibility: Any person 18 years of age or older may enroll.
- Orientation: All new students attend a mandatory orientation session. During orientation, you'll receive an overview of the HSE program and complete pre-tests in English and math. These pre-tests help us assess your current skill levels.
- Advising: After orientation, you'll meet individually with an advisor to discuss your educational goals and determine the best placement for you within the HSE program.
- HSE Prep/Skills Review: Based on your individual needs and pre-test results, you'll be scheduled for our HSE Prep/Skills Review class. This class is designed to provide you with the targeted support you need to succeed on the GED® or HiSET® exam.
Orientations are held bi-weekly by appointment only.

Upon successfully passing the GED® or HiSET® exam, you will receive a Certificate of High School Equivalency, a valuable credential that can open doors to new educational and career opportunities. You will also be invited to participate in our graduation ceremony in June to celebrate your achievement!
