Choosing a career in healthcare is a big step and that's why we’re offering a free introductory class to help you decide if this career path is the right move. You’ll get hands-on in the lab, handle medical tools and experience the daily tasks of a clinic all before you decide to enroll in our full Medical Assistant program. It’s the perfect, risk-free way to test drive your future and see if our program is the right fit for you.
What You'll Explore
- Clinical Essentials: Grasp the basics of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Hands-On Lab Practice: Get a first look at clinical tools and see how common medical tests are performed through simulation.
- Safety & Compliance: Preview vital protocols like HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control.
- Professional Standards: Gain a basic overview of medical law, ethics, and what it means to be a Medical Assistant.
- Sanitation & Maintenance: Practice the proper way to clean and care for professional medical equipment.
When We Meet
- Required Orientation: May 12th at 10:00 AM
- First Day: May 18, 2026
- Weekly Schedule: Monday, Thursday, and Friday
- Class Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
