about our program

about our program

Welcome to our English as a Second Language (ESL) program! Our program is designed to provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for students of all levels – Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced

Our Focus

Our program focuses on developing practical English skills that you can use in your daily life. We emphasize all four core language skills:

  • Writing: Learn to express yourself clearly and effectively in writing.
  • Speaking: Gain confidence in speaking English in various situations.
  • Listening: Improve your ability to understand spoken English.
  • Reading: Enhance your reading comprehension skills

Free Classes and Flexible Schedules

We offer free ESL classes that are continuus (you can join at various points throughout the year) and offer flexible scheduling options to fit your needs. We offer the following days and times:

  • Morning Classes: Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Evening Classes: Monday – Thursday: 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM

To enroll in ESL classes at Woodland Adult Education, students must be 18 years of age or older. Placement in the appropriate level is determined by attending an orientation and completing a pre-test.
